Male rat bump in the middle of his stomach

Hi,

A couple days ago when I was holding my male rat ( 1 1/2 yrs old), I noticed a hard bump in the middle of his stomach. It hasn't gotten larger (to my knowledge) and it's not noticeable when looking at his stomach, only when you feel him you can feel the bump right below his ribcage. I don't know of a vet in my area that specializes in rats, I live in a very small town. If you know of any in 97601 area, I'd be grateful.

However, it could be an abscess.  Do you notice a hole in the center of it?
