QuestionHi
My 2 yo female rat had a mammary tumour removed last week. The surgery was successful although I havnt sent the tumour for histopathology. My vet has mentioned galastop treatment which I shall be discussing further with her on Thursday this week.
I was just wondering what you can tell me about galastop in mammary tumours? How it works, sucess rates, survivals? and just your general experience with it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
As of this writing, I am not aware of any vets in United States using Cabergoline, which lowers the production of prolatcin, is not widely used in the United States. However, it sounds extremely interesting and I am going to do some reading up on it so I can learn more about it and perhaps share this info with the vets that I have contact with.
