egg laying Macaw

My Scarlet I have had since she was 3 weeks old layed an egg tonight, I am in SHOCK? There is no male parrot here so is it infertile? I heard her making noise, went to see and actually saw the egg come out & hit the bottom of her cage. She seems uninterested in it and is eating and fine? WHAT does all this mean, I am in SHOCK?? Thank you, Nancy p.s. She is 25 years old and this is the first time this has happened. I also have a 20 yr old Blue & gold that is female. What do I do with the egg?

since there is no male it is not fertile, it is normal for her to not be interested in it because there is no nest box or a male. All female parrots lay eggs even if there is no male kind of like chickens but parrots don't lay as many. The egg is no good so you can throw it out. i hope this helps you if you have anymore ?S just ask. also if you can give me a rating.
