7yr old female sun

we have a 2yr old male, janday,
will this female be able to lay eggs?
are should we find a 2yr, female.

Hello Carolyn and thank you for your post.
Your 7 year old Sun Conure will be able to lay eggs, but it's not a good idea to cross the two breeds.  BOth of the breeds should be kept as pure as possible to help reduce any health problems that could arise from cross breeding the two species.  I would suggest that if you want to breed your 2 year old male, then get a female that is also a Janday.
