Should parrot be involved in meal time?

Question
Hi. I have an Alexandrian Parrot who is a pretty well behaved bird. He doesn't bite and is not excessively loud - unless he wants something. We moved him from the bedroom to the living room because he seems to enjoy the company and screams less. However, now he can see when it is mealtime and he wants to eat too. I admit this is my fault since I feed him treats. I wanted to make him feel part of the "flock" but now I realize when we eat, he screams until we feed him something. He may nibble it and want something else - so he continues screaming. I don't think this is good to encourage but 1. how do I stop it? 2. how can I make him feel like part of the flock without encouraging screaming?

Answer
Hello,
I would suggest moving him to the other side of the living room where he cant see you eating dinner. And after dinner is done try bring him in the kitchen while you pick up.

Hope this helps if you have anymore? S just ask.
also if you can give me a rating.
