missing lovebird

Hi,My love bird has been missing now over a month,i have tried to search for him but could not find him,do these birds have good memory,thanks

Hi kelly,
Lovebirds have incredibly strong wings that even though wing trimmed they can fly pretty far. It is hard for them to come back even though they have great memory. You can try placing the cage outside and keep it open with food and water and play lovebird songs which can help attract the bird back again or you can follow and trace where the bird escaped by playing lovebird somngs which will attract the bird and cause it to reply back.
