lovebirds picking papers

Hello, this is Tita.. I had a question. I have been noticing my three lovebirds constantly picking papers. Is this normal lovebird behavior. And two of my lovebirds are always fighting with each other. Can you please tell me why my lovebirds are all of a sudden interested in papers? and whether this is normal or not? Does this mean they want to mate or something?

Yes, the paper picking shows that they want to make a nest and the fighting that you have rivalry for the affection  of the third bird.

Remove one of the fighters at once as these fights can cause serious damage and even lead to death.

Supply a nesting box and some palm leaves or fruit tree twigs which are beter for them than paper.
