Hi there!  What a wonderful service you are providing.  My lovebird Mango is about six years old and very happy.  In the last few days she has started chewing on anything that is made of wood - picture frames, our piano etc.  Do you think she may have a vitamin deficiency or something?  She is very happy and physically active other than this.  Thanks a lot.  Tracy

This is PERFECTLY natural!! It is just a normal part of any parrots life to chew chew chew. I would suggest getting her some more toys to chew on, some extra wooden toys, as well as leather toys, they LOVE these. Just keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't chew anything harmful, such as an electrical cord, or stained wood.

She sounds like a perfectly happy little girl!! :D
