What kind of toys can you make for your bird that will actually catch his attention and keep him busy?

for toys for small birds which is all I have ever owned you should go to your locle dollar store and get large Non colored wooden beads, assorted colored large pony beads, other larger beads of different shapes, Thick Ratail beading rope as well...you then string them together and you can make hanging toys or loops or if you also attached cut dowel peices you can make swings. Bear in mind glues are toxic as well as anything that the color can come off of.
