Question
I have a new baby Senegal about 4 months old. He is in a cage that is 20 inches
long, 16 inches in width and height. He seem quite happy in it now but should I
consider a larger cage in a while and should it be tall so he can climb and swing
and such or do they prefer moving side to side. I want what is best for him
because he is wonderful and very loving.

Answer
Hello that cage is much to small that cage is large enough for one lovebird not a senegal. The cage should be tall and wide not just tall... the parrot cages that are avlaible with the attached stand and play tops come in many sizes to acommidate everything from budgies to macaws. The cage should be 36X20X20 or something simaler...you basicly want the next size or two up from the size you have now.
