eyes

Hi,

My guinea pig mitsy had a swollen eye lid, it has gone dwn now but I was wondering if there was anything I can do from preventing this to happen again?

Hi Steph and thanks for the question,

If this "swollen eye" is the UNDER eylid, do not worry about it. It is a condition called "Pea Eye" and is harmless. If the eye is red and dripping white goo, she has conjuctivitis and needs a vet for some antibiotic drops.
