DO YOU THINK A FEMALE GUINEA PIG IS STILL FERTILE AT JUST OVER FOUR YEARS OLD? SHE HAS NEVER BEEN MATED AND WE ARE LOOKING AFTER A MALE GUINEA  AND WONDER IF ITS SAFE TO HAVE THEM TOGETHER? IF NOT HE WILL HAVE TO GO SEPARATE.THANKYOU.MANDI HUNTER(JORDANS MUM)

It is possible that the female is still fertile but the important point is that if she did get pregnant she would be unable to deliver the babies because her pelvic muscles will have fused together long ago, she would die in childbirth.

Therefore, I strongly advise you to keep the two pigs apart.
