growth on breast

Hi  I have had this guinea pig now for about a year.  I own a self service pet wash and a customer didn't want the little fellow anymore.  Today while we were handling him, we noticed a elongated growth on one of his nipples.  It seems to be draining a clear liquid.  Any idea what this could be, and do you feel he needs to see a vet.

It sounds like it could be a mammary tumor. Which isn't odd as it occurs in both male and female Guinea Pigs. Or it could be just a plan abscess, which is a wound that had become infected.

In either event he will need to see the vet for treatment and the for sure diagnosis.
