Miscellaneous - 3 Questions

I have a teddy bear hamster named Go-Go.  I bought
a hamster harness and lead put out by the company,
Hagen.  Is this the one you invented? Or, is yours
better?  I bought it on the website:
http:www.dubeyspetworld.com.  It's a business in North Carolina.  

My question is, when I take my hamster outside on
his leash, is he going to need some sort of flea
and tick protection?  And, if so, are the ones for kittens safe for him, too, even if he licks his fur?

Also, his left eye is fading.  Is this normal
for a hamster?  I have started sprinkling vitamins
on his food hoping that this will help.

My hamster harness is home made, I haven't sold it to any companies, so nope thats not my handywork. I don't think putting cat flea medication on your hamster is a good idea. It's not meant for hamsters, so thiers probably a good reason why you shouldnt. I don't think you'll have a flea problem with it. By fading do you mean clouding? If clouding is happening your hamster might have cataracts or glaucoma. Hope i've helped!
