My gerbils eyes rasap

Question
I picked up my hamster 2 days ago and she had tjis red swallen eye. I put some fresh water and food in every day and it started looking a little better then her whole eye turned red again. Can you please help me or should i go to a vet.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!

I think she might be allergic to your cage fluff or seh could have a fungal infection, although I don't know barely anything about hamsters.  This is just what I would think it would be if the same thing happened to a gerbil.
I would go to a vet so he can prescribe medicine [probably a spray bottle, you will have too spray medicine into her eye if that's what it is] soshe will get better.

Hope she gerts better!
