twitching and scratching

I have a question is it OK if it itches and if it like twitches when there is no sound cause I was just sitting there and he started twitching.  he is a long haired Syrian hamster. he has a pretty coat.

Hi Nick,

Your hamster may have an ear infection.  With an ear infection, a hamster's head sometimes starts twitching.  You should take your hamster to a vet, as an ear infection is very damaging to a small animal.
