Breeding Gerbils

Hi,
  I have two male gerbils and am thinking of buying two females. I would like them to have one litter. I have two seperate cages so i can seperate males from females. But, would the male who is not the father eat the male babys? If so, do you have any suggestions?

Hi,

It would not be a good idea to put all these gerbils together, and it will be hard to take one male and give him time to mate with a female and then get him to go back peacefully with the other male. How were you planning on doing this? If you email me back with your plan and i will let you know if you can do it, or what you should do!!!
