screaming hamster

i just bought a young hamster and everytime i go by the cage it starts to scream....or cry maybe im not too sure. i've never experienced this before. i just want to know whats wrong with him? is he lonely or scared maybe? please help! thanks in advance!

    He's just scared. This is a big change for him. Most likely he's never been away from the store you bought him from. I've had a hamster do this before. Make sure you hold him a lot and comfort him. That will make him feel better, and over time he will get used to you.
