gerbil bathing

hey sorry to bother you but i was wondering i wanted to bath my gerbil but im not sure if its ok for it or like if there is anything that i should put in it befor i put my gerbil in the water. And I also am gettin panda hampster and would it matter if i did he same bathing technige and the gerbil.    anyways thx for yur time and ill talk to yea later

LOL Gerbils don't like to get wet and I've never heard of anyone really bathing them but what people do for rodents to clean them is offer sand baths. Just get some chinchilla dust or sand and put it in an extra cage or container they can't get out of and let them loose in it. They'll clean themselves.
