urinating on food

My black bear hamster Hercules is about 2 years old. I just finished cleaning his cage and noticed that he urinated on his food. It was a milky consistency. I ve noticed this before in his food but never actually saw him do it. Is this normal? Also he literally poops, sleeps, eats all in the same location. My previous hamster had a corner of the cage for each thing. Wondering if thats normal too.

Hamster urine changing is not a problem unless there is blood in it. My hamster does the exact same thing yours does, he litteraly sleeps and poops in the same area. My cage setup is to blame for this. He sleeps in his lookout tower and uses that for a bathroom too. Some hamsters just do silly things like that.
