Just got one

Question
Hi! I just got my first hamster and he is running on his wheel, even though it is
daytime. is this normal? also, his cage is multi-level, and although it's only been
a day he hasn't  seemed to dicover the upper levels or even been in his house,
though he has sat on top of it.

thank you for your question.
Your hamster needs time to get used to his new home, he's probably just as excited as you are. Leave him alone as much as possible for a few days now, he needs to get to know his cage. Then you can start to tame him: put your hand in the cage, offer treats on your hand ect. but don't try to hold him unless he comes to you by himself.
