Fruits and veggies

Hi again! Was just wondering what kind of fruits and veggies are best for a hamster? Also, is there anything that is poisonous to hamsters? Thanks for the help!        Melissa

Hi Melissa,

It would take far too long to list everything which is safe for a hamster to eat and everything which is not safe for them to eat!

Like i said before, hamsters dont really need alot of fresh fruit or vegetables, and too much can give them an upset tummy too!

As long as your hamster has a good quality mix every day, then it will only need a tiny piece of carrot, apple, or cucumber evey few days.
