Question
Hi, i own a chinese dwarf hamster named tiffany, and recently she suffered an accident, probably by falling out her wheel, which she does often. both her back legs are dragging and not being used when she walks or runs. However, despite this she is not letting it slow her down! she is not in any pain and she is cleaning herself and eating and drinking normally. Is this sort of injury permenant? will it get worse? and is there anything i can do to help her situation?

Answer
Hello Pete,
it sounds like your hamster may have a pinched nerve and I honestly couldn't say whether or not your hamster would get better or if it's permenant. The only thing I think that can be good to use if you buy some vitamin drops like Oasis vitamin drops just to give extra vitamins. You can find Oasis vitamin drops at PetSmart and my hamster uses them.
Also, maybe you could try calling a vet and explaining the situation and see if the vet has any ideas on what else could be good.
