I'm horrified my 5 year old son took his hamster out of his cage and squeezed him to the point that he stopped moving we have taken him (elephant) out of his room and are currently trying to nurse him back to health. Hes drinking and eating but he has a problem with his eyes and that's the reason I'm writing they keep sticking shut and last night I was washing his eyes so I could open them and some yellow puss came out. Do you have any idea what could be causing this and is there any treatment. Thanks for any help you could give must help him soon or Ill need do end his suffering. Ray Lerette

    All i can say to help you is take him to a vet. He is in serious need of medical treatment. IF he survives which it sounds like he is not going to, put in him a safer inviroment and tell your son to not touch him cause he could hurt him seriously.
