Im scared my hamster is going to run away!

This is about my other hamster Riley shes a little spit fire so to speak i got her from Zoos and when i brought her home and put her in her new cage she went wild climbing the cage like it were monkey bars she runs on the wheel so fast at time i think its going to fly off and when it comes to picking her up i'm scared shes going to get away because she squeezes her way out of my hand and i don't want to hold her to tight because i don't want to hurt her i let her run in her ball but i would like to hold her and let her run on my bed like i did with my other hamster who was very calm is there anything i can do?

How long have you had Riley? It seems she is very active which is good. You may not have much time to hold her since she's constantly on the move and is very curious. What you could do is buy a play pen and place her in the play pen so she won't run away. That way you can play with her and let her run around without you worrying about her getting away from you. They have small animal playpens for a good price. Make sure she can't slide through the bars of the playpen and just keep an eye on her. :-)
