i have a grey serian hampster that bites everytime i try to pick it up the last couple of times he bit me he didnt break the skin so i put on some socks and tried to pick him up again but he bit me and broke the skin and it bled what should i do

    It is always best to wash your hands before handling your hamster. If they smell food on your hands, they will bite thinking it is food. Another reason hamsters bite is because they are startled when you go to pick them up. It is best to make sure they see your hand before trying to pick them up, that way you don't startle them.
