More sleeping and swollen cheek

My syrian hamster is about 1.5 years old and she is sleeping all the time in her corner. Whenever she gets up and walks around it is only for a few minutes and then she goes back to sleep. Her cheeks are swollen and she seems to have a scab on the outside of one of her cheeks. She is also sensitive to touch and will jump if I touch her. What is wrong? Is there just one problem or are there many?

Answer

   There are mulitiple problems, for one she is pretty old for a hamster. Two she has an infection of some sort in her cheekx, and three the scab is a major problem. Take her to the vet, he/she can put her on antibiotics, that will kill the infection.
