my hamster is injured

she is about 3 or 4 weeks old and there is another question i wanted to ask you i was wondering if they have broken bones if they could survive. thank you

Hi Penny,

    Yes, hamsters can survive from broken bones. It could take at least a month or so, but they can recover. If your hamster is still not drinking and is still having problems moving around, then I would suggest taking her to the vet. Every vet's charges are different, but I would think for an animal so small the charge wouldn't be to high.
    I would also suggest removing her wheel and not putting her in a ball (if she has one or both), to give her time to heel.
