blind?

i had two gerbils mamma gerbil(Angel) 3 years and her baby of 2 years(Baby girl)and just recently about 3 days ago Angel died and Baby girl is acting weird like when i take her out she will start spinning in circles realy fast.also she does this in her cage not as often i think she may be blind but maybe she misses Angel or maybe Angel gaver her an illness im not sure but also Baby girl has been laying down alot but she isnt really sleeping cause her eyes are sill open and when she walks sometimes she falls and shes been scratching her ear but when she does this she falls she just hasn't been acting the same normaly shes cewing on her cage or making noise but now shes just wants to lay around can u tell me why she spins like she is and acts like this,i can't take her to a vet because my mom doesnt have the money for it.

Hello Emily,
she may be going blind, but it also sounds like she's suffering from deperession and she may have an ear infection. Baby Girl is also very old and so I'm afraid to say that she may not be too far behind. There's not really much that you can really do. It sounds like she is slowing down too. A lot of times a gerbil will become sick or depressed after they have lost a loved one.
