Hamster Questions

I have 2 hamsters 1 is a long haired teddy bear and 1 is just a regular teddy bear.I want to make a ladder to put in my hamsters cage but I was wondering if it was safe to use glue!Also I was wondering what could I do for or with my hamsters to make their life more exciting.

Use non-toxic school glue, and you should be fine. They seem to enjoy it if you put their food in a papertowel roll and plug it up with papertowels or alfalfa hay. Also, give him acorns and other hard nuts that will take him a while to knaw through. You can also take thread and tie it around seeds and treats. Then hang it from the cage, high enough that they have to stand up, and they will have to work out a way to get it down.
