bitch in heat wont breed

i have a 2 y/o female ben in heat for 7 days and see wont let the male mount her why is that she is not a normally agressive dog but dosnt seem to want to breed when in heat

Hi. 7 days is too early. Most of the time, if a bitch is in heat and isn't at the right part of her cycle to be bred, she won't let the male near her. Most breeders try on days 11 and 13, or on days 12 and 14 of the heat cycle. When the right time comes, she should let him mount. Good luck!
