my chi is going into labor

OMG! My chi is going into labor... But i have a question, what comes out first, the doggie or the placenta? Is this pushing and contractions going to last much or will she start delivering soon?

Hi. Hopefully she's had them by now. the puppy usually comes first, then the placenta. Her actually pushing shouldn't last over 15 minutes, if it does, call the vet. Contractions can last a long time. It's the pushing for a long time that you worry about. Good luck!
