done nursing puppies

My dog finished nursing her puppies,they are 6 weeks old. The puppies are gone but one.My dogs breast are really a lot bigger now is this normal and will the breast shrink back to say normal size

Hi Mark.  As you have probably already noticed pregnancy takes a lot out of the mother, making them appear undernourished.  It takes about 3 months for the mother dog to return to normal, but not to worry, your girl will have her figure back in no time - including normal sized mammary glands.
