leash pulling

hi there amanda,
my friend cindy has a dog named sparky. its a rat terrier. sparky always leash pulls when she takes it on walks. whenever it sees another dog it pulls on it to get to it. how do you control this pulling. we don't want to hurt its neck for when we stop it. it already got a cut from its last owner. also why does sparky smell other dogs butts? thank you

Hello,

You should change a necklase, wich is made from good material and don't hurt dog's neck. You can consult with a salesgirl. I think, the best necklase for a dog, is made from leather, because my dog wears it and he feels ok. You should gop to the pet's store and ask for a soft, maybe round necklase.
