Question
My dog has problems urinating. He is an uneutered 1 yr old male. He goes outside and tries to urinate and only dribbles he strains and tries to go but can only go a little bit at a time. can I give him some cranberry juice how much can I give? I know her needs a vet but I cant even afford a doctor for myself.

Answer
There is no way around it; this dog desperately needs to see a veterinarian. He could have bladder stones and a partially blocked urethra; a blocked urethra will kill him fairly quickly from a build-up of toxins. At best, he needs a three-week course of antibiotics. Talk to your vet and tell him/her about your dog and your situation. Many vets will let you pay off your bill in monthly payments.
