picking out a dog

Question
i love dogs but picking them out can be difficult. i need a dog that doesnt sheds, short excercise, can stay out of the house at night, easy to be potty trained, loyal (as in doesnt run away), small, good near children, and of course lovable. any suggestions? Reply as soon as possible.

I'm sorry, but I don't think there is a dog out there that meets all your requirements.  If you are in a cold climate he will need hair to stay out all night, and that hair sheds because it is undercoat.  Also, all dogs need exercise, granted, some can get it running around your house if they are small enough, but small dogs are not good candidates for outside since they usually cannot stand cold and in warm climates they fall prey to other animals.  As far as potty training, that is up to your constant training in the beginning.  How fast a dog catches on depends on consistantancy.  If dogs don't bond with you, they will run away.

Well maybe you should look into another type of animal, like a bird or hairless cat if you are in warm climates.  Of course they, too, fall prey to other animals at night.
