QuestionHi
We noticed this morning on our 15 year old pug when we were trimming his nails that there was a hard lump on his chest the size of a small marble. What do you think it is?
AnswerUnfortunately with lumps there is no way to tell for sure with out doing a cytology or biopsy. Older dogs are certainly prone to lipomas - which are benign fatty tumors - but they are generally soft and moveable. I would take him in to your vet so they can aspirate it and see what kind of cells are inside it to find out exactly what it is.
