Hi my 11month old rottie is in season at the moment and shes bleeding like a stuck pig, is this usual and how long will it last? thank you

Yes, this is not uncommon. Occasionally, some will bleed throughout their entire season, while bleeding tapers off about midway through with many. Heat cycles last at least three weeks, but bitches should be confined for four weeks in case they happen to have a longer heat cycle; males will still find them attractive, and if a bitch ovulates late, she could still be bred.
