Question
I have 2 labradoodle puppies, one male (7 months old) and one female (4 months old). The male has smelled badly since he came to us a month ago. He has been checked by a vet, been groomed twice, sprayed...and nothing seems to help. What can I do and how often can I tkae him to the groomer?

PLEASE HELP!

Answer
You can take him to the groomer as often as you like. My show dogs get bathed every week or two. But I will tell you, some dogs just smell more then others and all the grooming in the world is not going to make it go away for long. How much did you pay for your "Labradoodles"?  You understand even though they are always advertised as non shed that 50% of them do shed?  If they take the Lab coat instead of more of the poodle coat, they will shed bad. That is one bad thing with these "designer breeds"...there is no consistancy in the traits of the dogs as they are not "breeds" but mixed breeds. I hope yours turn out as you pictured them. Seems a shame that people are selling these mixes for up to 1500 bucks!  I am sure they are wonderful dogs and you love them very much!  Good Luck.
