My dog not barking

I have a Jack Russell we just adoped. We have had her a week I haven't heard her bark yet. Why is that.

LOL, I wish I could say that about my dogs. They bark at everything!  Actually, I think if you give her time, she will.  SOme dogs just don't bark as much as others.  Since you adopted her, who knows? Her former owners may have really discouraged barking.  I bet one day she will come out with one and surprise everyone!  I wouldn't worry if I were you.
