Female just over 6 months, first heat

Question
My puppy just was in her first heat and then got her first hair cut a couple days after it was finished, and she appears to have a swollen vagina, is there any serious reason this is, should I take her to a vet, or is it just because of her being in her first heat, I've only had a male dog and i don't know much about heat, shes 6 months old and not spayed. Can you help me?

put some medicated powder around the area.  If she has razor burn and has been licking herself, it could be that.   Was she around any male dogs, if so, she could be pregnant.  Or she could have a urinary track infection.   How long was she in heat?  If it is around the 13th day, then she is still in heat although she may not be showing blood.  This is the fertile time.  If the powder doesnt make an improvement within 24 hours,  take her to the vet.
