Dog poophing in crate

What do i do!!!! i have a Yorkie he's 2 yrs old i have had him for about 1 yr 1/2 over all he has been good being crated while we go to work he has never been left run of the house since we had him, but for the last two days i have come home from work and he has poohed all over the place all over the crate it also looks like he is even eating it, it's smeared all over the creat everything in the creat on the sides of the creat just a mess i am not sure what is going on with him he normally does good just the last fews days he has been a mess with the poohing.  Help!!!! i need some tips on what to do.... before i have to make a decsion to get rid of him...

I would start with a visit to the vet.  If the vet doesn't find anything, it could be a difficult problem.  It certainly isn't common enough that there is a tried and proven remedy.  I often suggest better leadership.  The key to most behavior problems is approaching things using the dog's natural instincts. Dogs see all the people and dogs in the household as a pack with each having their own rank in the pack and a top dog. Life is much easier if the 2 legged pack members outrank the 4 legged ones. You can learn to play the role of top dog by reading some books or going to a good obedience class. A good obedience class or book is about you being top dog, not about rewarding standard commands with a treat.

In this case, it may not be enough.  You need the help of of a private trainer or behaviorist.  Try to find one using positive methods.
