Dogs training tips

I recently owned a dog aged 8 months old and would like to have it trained . Previously, I tried to train other dogs but failed. I would be most interested to receiving any training material from you so that I can properly train my dog. Many thanks and looking forward to hearing from you !

Well, Peter, I would be more than happy to help you, but I need more information. How much experience with dogs do you have? What kind of dog(s) do you have? How old is it/are they? Is it/Are they intact or sterile? How long have you had it/them? What sort of things do you want to train it/them to do? What is your schedule (ie: how much time per day could you spend working with the dog(s))? What is your budget for getting the dog(s) trained? Where are you located?
