my dogs fur changes

I have a 2 yr old Boxer who loves the sun, and lately I've noticed changes in her fur.  Her lower lack near her hips have a triangular shape pattern on both sides in a lighter color than her fur.  What could be causing this?  She acts healthy and happy as always

Hi Renee,

Sunlight can change the color of the dog's coat. Brushing your dog at least once a week can help spread the natural oils over her coat, and help it to look shinier.
There are also shampoos available to help enhance a dog's coat. One example is Sun Armor Shampoo, it contains a UV blocker and optical brighteners.

If your dog's skin starts to appear flaky, or her hair starts getting brittle, then a vet exam is in order.
