Question

my dog a small chihuahua, was nicked by a car, yesterday, she ran back into the side walk,
seems to have no broken bones, but right hind leg is hirting, she picks it up when walking, should i give her baby tylenol ? how many times and how many a day.

Answer
Hello Sonia;
I would still consider her injury bad enough to take her to a Vet...they have some Rimidahyl pain medicatin that is much better than Baby Apirin, I would not give Tylenol...too hard on the Liver.
You can follow the directions for the youngest child, or infant dose.
She also could take some Glucosomine with joint fluid as well..for faster healing, and "Pain Relief"!( Walmart has the least expensive price.)
I would not just treat her without having her looked at though..
I am a firm believer, that you take your dog to a Vet when it comes to "Life and Limb" Injuries and being hit by a Car causes more Serious damage than you think!!

Please let me know how she is doing, and what happens to her.
I will await to hear from you again.
Do not hesitate to ask any further assistance.
Sincerely,
Melissa
