concerned about my dog

i have a staffordshire bull terrier she had puppies 3 weeks ago all are fine however mum doesn't seem to want to feed she seems very restless and carries a teddybear around with her constantly, also she is scrounging for food 24/7 although hers is avaliable at all times , i'm also concerned as she has a severe case of the runs, is this normal after having her puppies because i've never seen her so unsettled.. if u can help would be grateful for any advice thankyou.

I think I might call the vet and explain some of this, but it sounds like she needs something more than what you are feeding.   Give her some cottage cheese.  She shouldn't have the runs still.  Sometimes they get it in the beginning, but she should be over that by 3 weeks.  She may need a vitamin mineral supplement.  Also, She should be on a puppy food like Eukanuba puppy food while she is feeding her pups.  She may not have enough nourishment to feed the babies and that is why she seems to avoid doing so.  I would take a stool sample to your vet also, to see what is going on.
