Question
I was given a dog as a birthday present, pictures attached. My friend who give it to me he told me that he is a German spitz when I toke him to the vet he told me that he might be a germen spitz or a schipperke, he wasn't really sure about it.

He is 10 months old now and I was told that he is ready to mate so could you please tell me what kind of dogs he is?

 Happy Birthday!
Unfortunately the pictures of your dog did not come through.
Sounds like a mixed bredd w/ some Spitz if that is what the vet thought. Sorry , I really couldn't say without seeing pictures. I do feel that 10 months is a little too young to mate. It is best to wait until the dog is about a year and a 1/2 to 2 years old.
