my bishon frise

Question
I have been adding all meat I cook with her hard for which is lamb and rice. is that ok. I also am having a hard time stopping her from scratching. I have tired changing shampoo,food,treats,still no help. First time dog owner.Thank you, Vivian, NY,Queens

Hi Vivian,
Try the Proplan  sensitive stomache and skin salmon, or the turkey and barley.  Bichons can have sensitive skin.  They don't need an exceptionally high fat diet as a terrier does.  Make sure you have her on Advantage flea medicine  NOT  Frontline.  Frontline is sometimes to harsh for some dogs.   Don't wash her too frequently.  Once every two weeks is plenty.   Add, a tablespoon of plain yogurt to her food each day.
