heat and pooping in house

my boston terrier is around 6-7 years old.given to me lst year , i was told she was kept outside in pennsylvania for 5 years. can't make her stop peeing and pooping in house. she will do it if i'm in bed or if i'm at work. but when i am in eye shot of her she won't do anything in the house. also how long will she bleed during heat. her last heat she bled for almost a month...drove me insane....please help

They bleed for almost a month 2/3 times a year unless you get them spayed.
Crate her when you are not at home or when you sleep.  Then take her out.  When you come back in keep her on leash so you can always have your eye on her.
When you cant put her in the crate or confine her to a bathroom with her bed and newspaper about 6 inches from her bed.  Cover the rest of the room.
Hopefully this will make her keep her "den" cleaner and then you will have to housebreak her in each room.
