brown eye discharge

we have a 5 month old havaneese, she is white and everyday we are constatly cleaning brown stains off her fur just a line on each eye down about an inch long as if she was crying,is this normal?

Yes, those are tear stains.They are normal for small dogs, and particularly show on white dogs. It is possible that she has clogged or undeveloped tear ducts that need to be surgically altered, but most likely it is just because of her genetics or the enviornment.
